Micon is a Fellow of the Institute of School Business Leaders, a School Business Professional, and has extensive expertise in finance management, human resource and site management.

As an experienced Multi-Academy Trust Chief Financial Officer she has expert knowledge of Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning, change management, education business support and operations.

Micon is currently appointed as Chief Operating Officer at the Inspiration Trust which is a 13-school cross phase Multi-Academy Trust with grant funding of over 38m, almost 6000 pupils and 900 employees. She has overall responsibility for the Trust’s Central Services, oversight of Governance, HR, Estates, Payroll, Procurement & Marketing and contributes to the overall strategy and performance of the Trust.

In Micon’s previous roles she has led the merger to form Langley Park Learning Trust, which included the design and implementation of the new branding, website, Trust-wide IT services and set up of the new central services functions. Micon is a DfE accredited School Management Advisor, a speaker at educational events and conferences and a Member of the DfE Teacher Professional Development Expert Group.
